Little J's Journey: Crossing All of Our Fingers and Toes
http://littlejsjourney.blogspot.com/2014/10/crossing-all-of-our-fingers-and-toes.html
Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Crossing All of Our Fingers and Toes. I'm not very good at being patient. I'm not very good at dealing with things that are out of my control. I kind of obsess about it and freak out. And I've currently gone off my anxiety meds. Bad idea! So whatever your beliefs, please pray with us, hope with us. We need a miracle, and we know with your love and support God can provide us with one, again. We love you and thank you for all of your love and support. October 9, 2014 at 9:35 PM.

Tay-isms: September 2010
http://tayisms.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Yes, she said that! Wednesday, September 1, 2010. First Day of Kindergarten! Tay has been extremely excited to go to Kindergarten, of course, she wants to skip it and go to 1st grade too. So, we got her all ready, she picked out her dress, I did her hair and we walked to the Bus Stop. And we waited, but the bus was late. Uh Oh. Sign of things to come? But I still had to go to school and prove to them that she was all inoculated and indoctrinated and stuff. So I waited a half hour and then headed over.

Tay-isms: The things she says...
http://tayisms.blogspot.com/2012/06/things-she-says.html
Yes, she said that! Monday, June 25, 2012. The things she says. Aren't so funny anymore. She is going through a phase where she is acting like she can't talk properly. It all started when I noticed that her front tooth was already 'in', behind her front baby tooth. Since then, it's been a steady stream of odd talking. Or she acts like she can't walk or move her arms well. We know it's pretend, she told us it was. But when will it stop? It's been a week already. Ugh, what is a Mom to do? 171; Older Post.

Little J's Journey: Genetics!!!!
http://littlejsjourney.blogspot.com/2014/09/genetics.html
Tuesday, September 9, 2014. Today, I was a mess. I was literally shaking with anxiety. I hate that so much can ride on one person and one appointment. We get ONE hour every 12-18 months to come up with a testing plan towards finding a diagnosis. What if the doc is having a bad day? What if he's running late? What if technology is down? What if I piss him off? Soo much can make an appointment turn badly, and there is little to do but wait for the next one.18 months down the road. I seriously thought about...

Little J's Journey: Life is a Rollercoaster
http://littlejsjourney.blogspot.com/2015/04/life-is-rollercoaster.html
Monday, April 27, 2015. Life is a Rollercoaster. Life is a Rollercoaster. I'm trying to hold on; sometimes I hold my breath and close my eyes, but I'm trying to enjoy the ride. Sometimes the scariest part is the incline, knowing what is coming and the anticipating the fear of falling. Sometimes the worst part is the fall. It's inevitable. You lack control. The pit in your stomach can feel like a thrill or it can make you want to vomit. I'm finally riding those small hills right now, and it feels great.

Little J's Journey: May 2015
http://littlejsjourney.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2015. We've been on quite the journey. And within that journey are dozens of other journeys. Including our genetic testing journey. The journey for answers. Our journey for a diagnosis. Unfortunately, my optimism was crushed in this post. My husband soon returned home from work and brought in the mail. I noticed the return address from Primary Children's Hospital and KNEW it was the letter from our geneticist. I was ecstatic. It was three pages long! And I wish it were only the medical s...

Little J's Journey: October 2014

Thursday, October 30, 2014. Too Much Brain to Contain. But the battle isn't over. There is still not enough room. His brain stem is still tight, but the doctors don't think they could do any better if they went back in. Jayson is just very small back in his brain stem area. But the brain stem is no longer the only issue. Jayson's head circumference is just barely over 45 centimeters. That's small, folks. That is off the charts small, and it has been 45 centimeters since he was about 8 months old. Or is i...

Little J's Journey: January 2015
http://littlejsjourney.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2015. The Source of the Pain. We have discovered the source of my son's pain, which has now resolved itself. Here is the update I posted on FB:. And the reason for my rage? Sunday, January 11, 2015. I NEED YOU ALL. AGAIN. If you are not familiar with what is going on with Jayson and his pain, please catch up here. So this nurse is saying she doesn't believe me that my son is hurting because she hasn't seen him in the office because they won't let me have an appointment to be seen in...
