Monday, February 2, 2015. Since the second week of December, Jayson has majorly regressed in oral feeds. He's regressed in quantity, in quality, and has completely stopped feeding himself. In October he finally learned to bring food to his mouth! I was in tears. He amazes me everyday. But he wasn't done. He looked so very proud of himself. It was amazing. He ate another, and another. Again, I was in tears. Another miracle. Be he wasn't done. He brought a puff to his own mouth and ate it! A view of loss.

Thursday, October 30, 2014. Too Much Brain to Contain. But the battle isn't over. There is still not enough room. His brain stem is still tight, but the doctors don't think they could do any better if they went back in. Jayson is just very small back in his brain stem area. But the brain stem is no longer the only issue. Jayson's head circumference is just barely over 45 centimeters. That's small, folks. I kind of obsess about it and freak out. And I've currently gone off my anxiety meds. Bad idea! So whatever your beliefs, please pray with us, hope with us.
