About | The Runner's Plate
https://therunnersplate.wordpress.com/info
The Runner's Plate. This is my blog and a little snapshot of my life. My husband Craig, me, and our dog Sadie. I’m Michelle, and I have lived in Anchorage, Alaska since August 2007. I was born and raised on a family farm (my parents have pigs, corn, and soybeans) in southern Minnesota where all my family and friends still reside. I miss it, and I’ve grown to appreciate it more now that I’ve moved away. Moving to Alaska. Who is a black lab and pit bull mix; and a home. We purchased summer 2013. My husband...

Honeymoon Part 2 – Torres Del Paine Circuit →. December 20, 2014 · 5:32 am. Hello from a bus in Chile! We are almost done with a bus ride from El Calafate Argentina to Puerto Natales Chile. At the moment we are waiting our turn at the Chile border. After checking in, showering and changing into shorts and a t-shirt, we headed out to exchange $ and find lunch. We found a restaurant for lunch that took our US dollars at a 12 to 1 exchange rate which was nice! A pretty good steak lunch to start our trip.

We were up early to head back to Pittsburgh! A quick but fun trip! It was so fun to see the stadium and see some of the Naval Academy traditions. There are these thi...

December 28, 2014 · 7:32 am. Honeymoon Part 2 – Torres Del Paine Circuit. Good morning from another bus! We left off with our bus ride to Puerto Natales. Puerto Natales is basically the gateway town to Torres del Paine National Park. It’s filled with backpackers and travelers. We need to find that magazine, we’re basically famous! Patagonia is known for its Salmon and Lamb. Saturday we listened to a talk at Erratic Rock hostel about trekking in Torres del Paine. There are two trek options, the W-trek...

Eat. Run. Sleep. | Because I like to talk to myself.
Eat Run. Sleep. Because I like to talk to myself. Nearly 8 months of inactivity prompted me to come back to my blog and (re)read about the things I have done. Just browsed through the New Year Resolutions that I had set earlier on and realised that I was not even close to most of them. Kinda hard to keep track these resolutions, perhaps I need to find some way to write it in my post-its and paste it everywhere I go. Nonetheless, the past 8 months were really fast…. No money, no fortune. On Friday, I deci...
