Oh no! I really do need to eat my vegetables!: Banana leather

http://eatingmyvegetables.blogspot.com/2011/06/banana-leather.html

I really do need to eat my vegetables! Going grain-free and eating the greens I never dared to try. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. My daughter helped mash them as I peeled and drop them into the bowl. Then I spread them on a piece of parchment paper, laid on a pan, and put them in my 200 degree oven for several hours. I was drying several other things in the oven anyway. At that point, they had browned some and looked lovely, but weren't dry enough. So down into the dehydrator at 135º overnight. Danielle&#821...

I really do need to eat my vegetables! Going grain-free and eating the greens I never dared to try. Wednesday, August 13, 2014. This snail is getting there. Healing can be slow. Sometimes it can be s l o w. Or maybe it was earlier than that. I'm not really sure. We only realized it recently. Regardless, this is new! And smiles and giggles and encouraging her little sister to wake up and play, that is wonderful. Even if I am a bit groggy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Best Ever Grain Free Brownies!

Oh no! I really do need to eat my vegetables!: GAPS Granola

http://eatingmyvegetables.blogspot.com/2010/08/grain-free-granola.html

I really do need to eat my vegetables! Going grain-free and eating the greens I never dared to try. Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Much thanks to Grain Free Foodies. I combined ideas and came up with this recipe:. 3 cups of stuff - soaked and dehydrated pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, slivered almonds, and sunflower seeds. I processed about half of it so some could be a little more finely ground (and more surface area for honey! I also recommend soaking everything for a long while in order to clean :). I think it ...

Oh no! I really do need to eat my vegetables!: No mess Cauli-rice!

http://eatingmyvegetables.blogspot.com/2014/04/no-mess-cauli-rice.html

I really do need to eat my vegetables! Going grain-free and eating the greens I never dared to try. Saturday, April 5, 2014. If you hang out in the foodie blogosphere much, you'll come across many many recipes for cauliflower rice. Most of them involve either grating the cauliflower, or running it through a processor. I've done both plenty of times. And I perfected the cauli-rice flavor with the addition of eggs and select spices. Yum! One head of cauliflower (around 3lbs). 2-3 cloves garlic (opt.).

I really do need to eat my vegetables! Going grain-free and eating the greens I never dared to try. Monday, June 23, 2014. Sprouts in jar - the easy way :). Have you ever looked the price of sprouts at the store? They certainly charge for the powerful nutrition! They are so easy at home though. Put a little bit of seeds at the bottom of the jar. They will explode. Don't put many in there. These are broccoli seeds. So yummy! I think for the pictures below I had a bit more seeds than this shows. See, no ha...

Beef, almost 2 pounds - cut bite-sized. A few handfuls of baby carrots, sliced into long 'sticks'. Broccoli - stalks removed. Zucchini - cut in fourths the long way then sliced. Gaps in our Gut. We will have soup for breakfast, and soup for lunch. And for dinner we will have broth! Wednesday, August 24, 2011.
