Cardiac Club is growing! It began as a pilot program at Adrian Burnett Elementary in 2009. The club at Adrian Burnett has been fully integrated into the culture of the school and serves as a highly anticipated rite of passage for 4th and 5th grade students. Saturday, March 1st, 2014, 8:00 am. 5k run/walk and 100-yard dash (children 12 and under) in Chilhowee Park and a 1-mile family fun walk through the Knoxville Zoo. The event features music, refreshments, vendor booths, prizes and more! Participants also receive complimentary admission to the Knoxville Zoo the day of the race!
