Cardiac Club is a 10 week/20 session after school program for grades 4-5 focusing on nutrition education, physical activity, fitness and health assessments, goal setting, and parent engagement. The Cardiac Club curriculum was developed by registered dietitians from Knox County Schools and the University of Tennessee. The content is based on the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. And includes interactive games and hands on activities. SPARK. And the University of Tennessee Department of Nutrition.
