Through My Eyes

Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. -Psalm 62:8. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. While we were visiting our friends in Connecticut, we visited a U.S. Navy Base and went inside the USS Nautilus! It was the world’s first nuclear-powered submarine. It was also the first vessel to travel under the North Pole. There was a picture in the museum of the crew meeting Santa Claus at the North Pole! Very cramped quarters, as you might imagine! Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. -Psalm 62:8. Thursday, July 28, 2011. A few weeks ago two of my mom’s cousins and her aunt and uncle came to visit! Her cousins brought their beautiful families with them. While The Boys and I only have 3 first cousins, we have plenty of 2nd and once-removed cousins! Left to right: Me, Joel, Josh, Other Josh, Emma, Jacob, and Mollie and Sophia are in front.). There was plenty of space for the kids to play!

Blessed: A birth story

http://agable-thoughts.blogspot.com/2013/11/a-birth-story.html

Monday, November 18, 2013. I'm going to try and write this all in one sitting, but we will see if I actually can. Our little guy is here. We are head over heals for him, and his big brother is already so protective of "his" baby. The last week and a half have been a blur of sweet baby snuggles, sleepless nights, countless prayers, and full hearts. We checked in and they said since I had dilated so much on my own that I wouldn't need pitocin until morning. I tried to sleep through the contractions (ha!

Blessed: Lately

http://agable-thoughts.blogspot.com/2014/01/lately.html

Friday, January 31, 2014. Lately, my days are filled with diapers and Disney Junior and tantrums and chocolate milk and trying to get peanut butter out of the carpet that used to be white but is now a dull gray color. Lately, my favorite thing to watch is my husband playing catch with our preschooler, or holding our baby, because those two sights are just the best. It's so crazy to think of where we were a year ago. We had no idea how our life together would change. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Wednesday, June 24, 2009. 25th Wedding Anniversary Trip - Part 4 (Final). Mount St. Helens. After leaving the Olympic Peninsula we headed south to visit. We were there on May 21. Which was 29 years and 3 days after the mountain “blew its top.”. We went to the Johnson Ridge Observatory which is about 5 miles from the crater. It is an amazing view from here and is an awesome sight to see and realize what an incredible amount of natural power was involved in removing about 1300 feet of the mountain top.

He is really into his RC cars and is working on building and racing them. He finished up his last year in Elementary School and is now entering Junior High. He is so excited! I am such a proud Momma!
