The Girl in Red.
The Girl in Red. Thursday, 20 October 2011. So, considering that this is a rather dense subject, how have I been conducting my research? Initially, I started with some Internet research on WikiLeaks; looking into its origins and role within the Australian and international media landscape. I also conducted the same initial research with whistleblowers and how they have influenced and affected the Australian media. Above: Image sourced from Google. Thursday, 22 September 2011. Ramblings Of Life
Saturday, August 7, 2010. My daughter turned 16 this week. She didn't want a big fancy party (she's kinda like her Mom), just a few friends. But I asked her what she wanted for her cake. I made her the hippo cake last year (seen here in my New Year's. Post) and she loved it. I ended up going with a topsy-turvy style, 2 tiered cake. She requested her favorite colors for the frosting and I made up marshmallow fondant for the decorations. Birthday that I still need to sign up for! Friday, July 30, 2010.

Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Yellowknife was really nice. I enjoyed my time there. It was a neat experience and lots to see. If it hadn't been for the bugs it would have next to perfect. It took some serious work to get my car to a semblance of clean. Put almost 4000K on my car. That was a lot of driving. After coming back from Yellowknife on Thursday and then Grande Pairie and Back with very little down time I was ready to get home and relax. Started work as soon as I was home. Ramblings
Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Excited for a new month. When I started the meal planning I was afraid it was going to be this huge, daunting thing. I was pleasantly surprised! It was a good month to start because we are leaving for Florida Friday so I had 1 less week that we needed to cook for. If I can do it for 3 weeks, why can't I do it for 4! I'm so happy that it went well. I've been talking a lot about doing things to get less possessed food in our home. I'm really excited about this! It's liquid (you ca...

Jen's Ramblings
Sunday, July 5, 2009. Today Tony wants to catch up with an old friend, and I need to get him a pair of church shoes, So we head in to town. We find Tony's friend right away - and right where we left him. A boy and his dragon. Let's climb him again, for old times sake. Tony feeling nostalgic on the way up. And the triumphant boy as he conquers the dragon! Thought we'd had our fill of climbing - but really, that was just silly of me. And, he's triumphant again! Plenty of information on Dundee's history here.

The Ramblings
I love words. I speak with them and I write with them. Here I will place a variety of things I write with them; mostly poems. Not on the sidewalk. You’re a lady and. I won’t even. And they won’t touch. Me or the concrete. Benches where we watch. Peace and water moving. Rest under this darkness as. Do, don’t. I want to touch them to. The insides of my wrists. If your hands were a color. Other than you, I’d. Ask God to make you white. Blue, like the ocean. There’s infinity growing. I need to crash into.
