Tuesday, October 23, 2007. I also have too many family gatherings. All my relatives on my dad's side used to live in Georgia. We would have thanksgiving at my grandmother's condo, christmas at my aunt's house, and other "get-togethers" at my uncle's house. I sometimes wish people would give me space. TRYING to think deeply. Friday, August 31, 2007. Teenage Life Is Like. Teenage life is like a melted box of chocolate. When you stick your hand in the box you don't. Know which one your going to get.because they're all melted together. You think you see a whole piece. But once you pick it up the chocolate becomes lava goodness. Took responsibility for his actions and he killed himself. He is like Oedipus in the way that they both took responsibility for. Their actions and punished themselves for it. When he finds out that his fate has come true, Oedipus punishes himself, but does not kill himself. He takes responsibility for his fate, but wants to let other people know that he was responsible. After everything we read and discussed about oedipus rex, fate, predestination, freewill,responsibility and all of that I feel like I'm walking away with more questions than knowledge. Maybe thats part of understanding? Then along comes Harold crick. He spends his story attempting to change his fate and, following the pattern, the does create chaos. He accepts his fate, the chaos ceases, and he meets his destiny. But - he changed it! Was that his fate all along?

I have to say from my years of baby-sitting, i am sure that some babies are born evil. But on a serious note, i think to define good and evil is dangerous territory.
