Thursday, February 23, 2012. OATMEAL PLAY CLAY is easy to make! All you need is 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup water and 1 cup oatmeal. Combine flour, water and oatmeal. Stir until smooth. If sticky add more flour. Remove from bowl and knead on floured surface fro 3-4 minutes. Store in an airtight container or ziploc. Can make different colors by adding 6-8 drops of food coloring. This is the perfect dough for a young child's first sculpting experience! The kids played with this for almost an hour straight!

Thursday, February 9, 2012. A different way of painting was fun for the kids. They used cotton swabs:) They painted their heart however they wanted to. We let them dry, cut them out and glued them to construction paper. We have to add a few stickers to the sides yet and stop at the library to get laminated! Thursday, February 9, 2012. Our Valentine's for the birds! I love making things to hang outdoors for the wildlife! Wish we had a daycare in the country! These were super easy to make! Cut out your choice of shape, spread egg on bread, press in bird seed. Let dry for a good day and then make a small hole.
