The Stars and Stripes. And the European edition of TV Guide. Published nice articles after I won first place in several categories of the annual HQ USEUCOM (Military Forces, Europe) Photography Contest. It wasn't until recently, however, that I considered. Seems a bit pompous. Was taking those pictures creative?

The Highland Lakes area of the Texas Hill Country is smack in the middle of the spring wildflowers. The bluebonnets are blooming. They are "okay" but not really spectacular. Waking up on a foggy morning while on a camping trip with my grandson was special.
