Monday, August 22, 2011. Erin wrote late last week and let us know that.I'M HERE! Can you believe it? I am officially a missionary! We headed to the Mission House to have brunch (homemade breakfast burritos) with all the new missionaries and President and Sister Neider. We then went to a transfer meeting where I met my companion, Hermana Gutierrez from Guadalajara Mexico. Mom, your prayers were answered. I have a native speaking companion! She is so great! I'm learning soooo much Spanish it's crazy!

It's hard to imagine that I have less than 3 weeks in the MTC before I'm thrown out into the scary unknown that is the "Mission Field". I have a feeling that I always say that.every time I start my letters. Oops. :) Well, it's TRUE! Monday, July 16, 2012. LAIE, HAWAII LDS TEMPLE. Wade is currently Zone Leader of the Temple district and the PCC - Polynesian Cultural Center). So Laie is AWESOME! We are ROCKIN over here! Emergency landing but everything is ok. He didn't arrive when he was supposed to so we impatiently waited. We had breakfast at Cracker Barrel with some of his old mission companions who were going to be with us at the airport, but it wasn't the same. Wade was supposed to join us. Oh well.
