Every Day Gourmet

No Recipe- Recipes [NRR]. Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Last night I was popping out some frozen green spinach cubes out of silicone "brownie bite" tray (well I didn't have a ice cube one- so the brownie one worked great). Anyway, Michael and Austin walked in and they looked at me like I had lost my mind. Austin said "What are those? I replied "Spinach Cubes". Austin, "What for? For my morning smoothies" I said. Michael said to Austin "You never know what your mom is doing in her lab". But one day I discover...

Every Day Gourmet: November 2008

http://www.everydaygourmet-lisa.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

No Recipe- Recipes [NRR]. Sunday, November 30, 2008. Menu for the Week 12/1 -12/8. Okay here we go. I have not had the time to figure out how to make a "cute" blog. This will have to do for now. If I keep waiting to find time to figure it out I might never get going. So this is definitely. A work in progress. The menu with a star by it are new recipes that I have not tried. You will find that I do that a lot. Slider Burgers with Manchego. Cheese and Sweet Potato Fries. Shrimp Chowder and Cheese Biscuits.

Every Day Gourmet: Skillet Chicken Tikka Masala

http://www.everydaygourmet-lisa.blogspot.com/2012/06/skillet-chicken-tikka-masala.html

No Recipe- Recipes [NRR]. Monday, June 25, 2012. Skillet Chicken Tikka Masala. My reality is using my iphone to capture images of our food, that is, before. Someone walks off with it and eats it. It does happen. The whole family really enjoys Indian food, but it's quite expensive to take all six of us out for dinner. Over the years I have tried my hand at making Indian dishes. Remember the Curried Lentils? Skillet Chicken Tikka Masala. 1- 1/2 lbs chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces*. Add onions an...

No Recipe- Recipes [NRR]. Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Not uncommon. Today I had this soup on my mind:. Rachael Ray's Vegetable Soup w/Pesto Butter. I originally planned to use my small potatoes from my pantry for "Skillet Potatoes with Eggs"- but this " Vegetable Soup with Pesto Butter. Would not leave my mind. The idea of all those summer vegetables and a PESTO BUTTER. Haunted me all day. PLUS, I could make it in the slow cooker. I took the chance and went for it. The PESTO BUTTER. Love the PESTO BUTTER.

Cindy's Blog: Back to Saudi Arabia

http://cindyacook.blogspot.com/2009/03/back-to-saudi-arabia.html

Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Back to Saudi Arabia. Okay, on this trip that everyone warned me to be careful about, I never felt my life was in danger by terrorism. The only time I felt in danger was on the roads in Saudi Arabia. These people cannot drive! It has brick domed ceilings in all of the bedrooms, beautiful lamps and carpets everywhere. Cindy's Blog: Finally adding something to my blog...

http://cindyacook.blogspot.com/2009/03/finally-adding-something-to-my-blog.html

Thursday, March 12, 2009. Finally adding something to my blog. Well, it has now been a week since we have been gone but feels much longer. Which is good because most vacations fly by too fast. Our couple of days in London were good but we really weren't there long enough. This was the kids first time to London and there was so much more we wanted them to see. I guess we will just have to go back! At least three days worth - the mushy kind! I tried flushing it several times and there it sat! The hotel sen...

Cindy's Blog: Okay...

http://cindyacook.blogspot.com/2009/05/okay.html

Sunday, May 17, 2009. This is what I cannot wait for:. 1 Not having to drag my unwilling kids out of bed every morning. What a pain! 2 Not having to pack school lunches, ugh! I guess I will still technically have to make them lunch though. I just won't have to think about it at 7:00 in the morning. 3 No schedule or after school activities - Yay! There are a lot of people who do some great summer camps, but we usually don't. Instead we hit the water parks, beaches, etc. This is what I am dreading:. After ...

http://cindyacook.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html

Monday, June 22, 2009. Right now it is 9:00 at night at it is 92 degrees outside - ugh! I took the kids up to the pool today and the water was bathwater warm - not refreshing at all! They were happy to swim for a couple of hours then we headed home. We all spent the rest of the day in our swimsuits! Why bother getting dressed. We went from swimsuits to pajamas! I spent the afternoon working (in my swimsuit) while the kids played a Harry Potter game on the Xbox (in their swimsuits). Jim and Carrie Heywood.

http://cindyacook.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Another day in the life. Okay, so we are in a second day of really cold weather (for us) and I am already done with it. It is not so much the cold, it is getting everyone functioning in the cold. We all ready have issues getting out the door on a normal day, on a cold day it is much worse. This is pretty much a normal morning for us - except it usually about 30-40 degress. I guess I need to remind myself to have a lot of patience! Monday, January 19, 2009. I decided to test p...

Cindy's Blog: back on again...

http://cindyacook.blogspot.com/2009/03/back-on-again.html

Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Okay, I decided to let the family sleep a little longer before we get up to go to the airport. We have been so busy this whole time I haven't had time to write. I will see what I can do right now. We are going to miss our house on the ocean. You can throw a rock from the back patio and hit the water we are that close! We have enjoyed listening to the waves crashing at night while we sleep. During the day the water is calm and blue like the caribbean. The camps are nice. They ...

Cindy's Blog: May 2009

http://cindyacook.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html

Sunday, May 17, 2009. Okay, we do finally land in Egypt with our party of 10! Thru the trip we maintained our 1 suitcase per person that we started out with. These were not fully packed when we left the states but now crammed with souvenirs. We wanted to avoid what his sisters managed to do which is shop until they had to purchase more suitcases. Peter finds it embarrassing to travel overloaded like that. Especially when you are dealing with valet, bellmen, etc. The A/C did not seem to be working and the ...

http://cindyacook.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html

Saturday, February 28, 2009. Can somebody pack for me? They are pretty good about eating healthy food so that makes part of my life easier! Yes, I do this for every trip, not just because I am heading the Middle East! I do clean my house every week and even pay someone to do it for me on occassion, but the junk drawers are not a weekly thing for sure! I couldn't believe how many pencils I found! I have been doing laundry too! Monday, February 23, 2009. So the week begins. Why I am even writing this?

That I posted yesterday, the two songs about the Holy Spirit that I posted at the end of this post came to mind. The Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our salvation, constantly assuring us we’re God’s children and convicting us of sin, while providing the power to overcome that sin. Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Posted by Feldspar Epstein. Thursday, July 3, 2008. EDG Second Life T-shirts. I thought it was about time I came up with a Second Life product that I was happy with – so I am pleased to present these T-shirts, with the EDG logo on the front, and a slogan-despising slogan on the back. Don’t we all hate those T-shirts with logos on them, advertising someone else’s product, with those supposedly witheringly witty words printed somewhere on them? Posted by Feldspar Epstein.
