Tuesday, September 22, 2009. I just wanted to let it be known that I am still here and care about my blog, but I am in the process of getting a divorce and have not been able to post as often as I would like. I am going to be moving a few days and once things settle down a bit, I'll be back to posting more often. There hasn't been much to post anyway! Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Bolognese Part Two; Gourmet American Chop Suey. To make the chop suey:. While the vegetables saute, set a pot of water to boil and cook one pound of the pasta of your choice. I really favor rotini in an application like this because the shape of it makes the sauce stick to it, but anything you like will work. Elbows are more of a classic choice here. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. One Pot of Bolognese; Three Delicious Dinners. We had bolognese over pasta for dinner on Sunday night,...

Everyday Gourmet: Indoor Fajitas

http://everydaygourmet-jennifer.blogspot.com/2009/07/indoor-fajitas.html

Sunday, July 19, 2009. Then I had another obstacle standing in my way. No propane for the grill! But by now I really wanted fajitas so I was determined to find a way. What we ended up with was chicken strips and peppers that I quickly cooked in a skillet with some olive oil, seasoned with some salt and pepper. To make the chicken and peppers:. I also made a lime guacamole to go in the fajitas. I've been playing with my guacamole preparation, and tonight I went lime crazy it out to give a bold flavor.

A Splash of This - A Dash of That: September 2011

http://gotspice.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Meal Planning and Food Saving! Well it's been a while since I have updated this blog and it is because I have been a total slacker in the kitchen. Between the move at the beginning of the summer and getting settled with our new schedules, some days it was just easier to order Chinese food or make something that I have made a thousands times. It's been so nice. Evan enjoys riding in the car all by himself and I am not as easily distracted as I was with ALL THREE in tow! Anothe...

A Splash of This - A Dash of That: Tex-Mex Turkey Soup

http://gotspice.blogspot.com/2012/01/tex-mex-turkey-soup.html

Tuesday, January 3, 2012. On New Years day I made a Turkey and it was (if I do say so myself! Delicious. Just like at Thanksgiving, there was some leftover turkey meat and I didn't want to see it go to waste, so I went onto Allrecipes.com. One of my favorite sites for finding recipes, and found this one for a Turkey Tex-Mex Soup. We all love the flavors of Tex-Mex in this house, even the boys, so I was sure even before we could smell the soup simmering on the stove, that it would be a hit! Like so good, ...

Thursday, November 3, 2011. Rainy Day Gals - Cuban Pork. This Cuban Pork dish. Is seriously one of my all time favorite recipes to make now! I got this recipe from a Facebook friend after she posted on her wall that she was making it for dinner. I have made this a number of times now and it's amazing how simple it is to make considering how delicious it is! Keep in mind that even though this is a crock pot dinner, there is some night before prep that needs to be done! 6-8 cloves of garlic, chopped. I can...

A Splash of This - A Dash of That: Gnocchi with Sausage & Spinach

http://gotspice.blogspot.com/2012/04/gnocchi-with-sausage-spinach.html

Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Gnocchi with Sausage and Spinach. After a winter filled with comfort foods, I am trying to get my diet back on track. I have finally gotten myself into a good routine with exercising, but I'm not going to drop any pounds if I keep stuffing my face with rich savory comfort foods! On the other hand, I don't want to sacrifice taste. We have had a couple fails recently so I was happy to have a winner with this Gnocchi recipe I found on Pinterest. 1/4 cup gnocchi cooking water. I mig...

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Two Songs about the Holy Spirit. October 16, 2012. As I thought about the prayer from Valley of Vision. That I posted yesterday, the two songs about the Holy Spirit that I posted at the end of this post came to mind. The Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our salvation, constantly assuring us we’re God’s children and convicting us of sin, while providing the power to overcome that sin. And endurance produces character, and character produces hope,. For tho...

Every Day Gothic

Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Posted by Feldspar Epstein. Thursday, July 3, 2008. EDG Second Life T-shirts. I thought it was about time I came up with a Second Life product that I was happy with – so I am pleased to present these T-shirts, with the EDG logo on the front, and a slogan-despising slogan on the back. Don’t we all hate those T-shirts with logos on them, advertising someone else’s product, with those supposedly witheringly witty words printed somewhere on them? Posted by Feldspar Epstein. During the ...

Every Day Gourmet

No Recipe- Recipes [NRR]. Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Last night I was popping out some frozen green spinach cubes out of silicone "brownie bite" tray (well I didn't have a ice cube one- so the brownie one worked great). Anyway, Michael and Austin walked in and they looked at me like I had lost my mind. Austin said "What are those? I replied "Spinach Cubes". Austin, "What for? For my morning smoothies" I said. Michael said to Austin "You never know what your mom is doing in her lab". But one day I discover...
