On the way, we stopped at a little petting zoo that is located at a gas station at exit 98 on Interstate 16. Oliver was brave enough to feed the slobbery bison! When we arrived at Tybee Island, our first stop was the lighthouse. We climbed all 178 steps. With just a few breaks to look out the windows on the way up. View from the Top. A Look into our Life. The Jennings Family Blog. Monday, August 20, 2012. Back to School 2012. We have been back at school for a week! Oliver is in Pre-K at a new school and is loving it so far. Henry is in second grade and is also enjoying school. I am teaching Kindergarten again this year and have what is shaping up to be a great class! To last year's back to school post. The boys are getting so grown up! He also was pleased to find out that his favorite classmate from last year is in his class again.

Poor Oliver was sick that day and had to miss the first day of kindergarten. He was better by Tuesday, though, and jumped right in to school. We've been watching the original Star Trek series on Netflix and they have really been enjoying it. This simple but dangerous recipe is a favorite at office parties! I saw these at a department potluck at a previous employer, and had to make them when we had a holiday potluck at my current employer. Basically, these are made the same as the familiar, basic Rice Krispie treats, but instead of using Rice Krispies, you substitute Fruity Pebbles.

Saturday, November 4, 2017. What a Year It's Been! So, one year later, I got up this morning, fed the cats, ordered some groceries, cooked breakfast and watched TV by the light of an actual lamp. I've moved forward this year. I've done a lot more than just coming home. I still have a way to go, but that way is definitely up! Monday, June 19, 2017. Tales from the Deck(hand).
