Monday, July 28, 2014. The New Eye and the Ear Follow-up. Today was a good day. Today was an interesting day. Kaili had two appointments. It made for a long day, but we only had to make the drive once instead of twice. Kaitlynn came with us to keep her entertained in the backseat. Monday, November 18, 2013. Qing Xiao Zhu :庆晓珠. Before we knew who our new daughter would be, I had often wondered about her name. I was so ready to find out who she was, and where she was, but also the name she had been given. In the Chinese culture, names are very important and they all mean something. When we did find her in September, I spent days trying to find out the meaning of her names, but not being familiar with the Chinese language, it was really difficult. Xiao = the breaking of the dawn.

Sunday, November 2, 2014. I just scrolled though my phone and realized how behind I was in preserving the daily pictures. Here is a month's worth of Kaili moments! She was trying to kiss me through the window. :). Discovering the animal water bowl. She is very obsessed with the cat. Kaili and Aubie liked the new dog bed. Walking into church with Daddy. First trip to Wal Mart. Yes She sleeps like this. Yes, it drives me crazy. Fun BEFORE the dentist called her name. Saturday morning fun on the soccer field.

Saturday, September 27, 2014. She has been home for 8 months this week. 8 months! That sure has flown by and she has changed so much! September 9th was the one year anniversary of that phone call from our case worker. A year since we had first seen her picture. It has been a busy month. An extremely busy month. So busy that this self proclaimed gold medal winner of the Queen of Multitasking is crying UNCLE! I didn't need to know. God knew. And He worked it out perfectly! With 22 different classes the kid...

Thursday, April 24, 2014. 21 Months Old Today! 21 months old today! Favorite song: Itsy-Bitsy Spider. Favorite Food: Fresh blueberries and Cheerios. Favorite Toy: Ping Pong ball. She is crawling super fast, getting up on her knees, loves to close doors, and has pretty much learned her way around the downstairs. We have gotten a handful of real giggles and we love that!
