It is "cute" to me b/c the Israelites there seem just about as in the dark as I am about the significance of everything; they are just trying to "follow the Law." Friday, July 30, 2010. OT: 2 Chron. 29:1-36. Today's was another cheery reading. The kings of Judah are really on as much of a roll as I've seen them. In today's passage, Hezekiah, the priests, and the Levites get the country back on track by cleansing, repairing, and rededicating the temple. Friday, December 31, 2010. In today's reading was the only verse I had previously known from Malachi:. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,' says the Lord Almighty, 'and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it" (3:10). Tonight, while prepping for another class, I ran across a radio interview of Jimmy DeYoung, where he and John MacArthur both claim that anyone who takes the Mark of the Beast during the Great Tribulation could still possibly be saved afterwards.
