For those who know Ayla and her life-long friend, Gato, you may have read in yesterday’s post about her favorite animal having been lost for three days and known the grief she must have been feeling. I have put more hours looking for that cat than I can count, run up and down miles of stairs to make sure she’s in the arms of the girl I love, broken up hundreds of fights between friends who all want Gato (out of all the animals in the basket! Running towards the heartbreak.

What I want to say is that I hate October, but I tell my kids “hate” is a very strong word and should be used sparingly. I keep this blog in part to easily update family, friends, and other JA parents (and any other interested persons! On how Anna is doing on her journey with Juvenile Arthritis. Since Anna was first diagnosed in 1999, the terminology has changed. I believe that now children are diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis, or Juvenile Iodiopathic Arthritis, et. al. Som jag skrev igår var brysselkålen årets nyhet på julbordet och det gick hem hos de flesta (iallafall bland de vuxna) och det blev inget kvar. Här kommer receptet för er intresserade:. Honungsrostad brysselkål med mandlar. Salt och peppar från kvarn. Dela brysselkålen i mitten och lägg i ugnsfast form. Skala och skär rödlöken i båtar och lägg med brysselkålen. Ringla olja och honung över, salta lätt och rosta i 200 grader ugn i ca 30 minuter.
