Kookin' With Krista: Gettin' Ready for Noah
http://kookinwithkrista.blogspot.com/2009/09/gettin-ready-for-noah.html
Monday, September 21, 2009. Gettin' Ready for Noah. This weekend, my mom and I spent several hours in the kitchen making meals to stick in the freezer in preparation for baby Noah's arrival. I know my desire to cook will be VERY low for a while! Between meals that will be provided by our families, by our Sunday School at church, and the meals we made this weekend, we should be good for about 6 weeks. WOW! Your favorite meatloaf recipe. 1 Bottle of BBQ sauce. 1 bag cheese, any type (we used Mont. Jack).

Kookin' With Krista: January 2009
http://kookinwithkrista.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Don't knock it till ya try it! Last summer my sister-in-law and I dabbled into the world of cake decorating. we took a few classes, gained 5lbs from licking the spoon and sucking the icing out of the tips, and made a few halfway decent looking cakes. Since then, I have sharpened my skills a bit and have been ready for the next step. the forbidden land of fondant. For those of you that don't know, fondant is the smooth (but hard) tasteless stuf. 16 oz bag of mini-marshmallows.

Kookin' With Krista: May 2009
http://kookinwithkrista.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 28, 2009. We were out at the lake this weekend, and as usual, we did some fabulous cooking. There is a fairly large kitchen out there, 3 women who love to cook, and plenty of time to do so. My favorite thing we came up with this weekend was a homemade Green Goddess dressing. We tweaked the original recipe a bit, and now I can not imagine making it any other way! Oh, I forgot to mention the best part. it is CRAZY easy. 1/2 cup mayo (we used light). 1/2 cup sour cream (we used light). Can you...

Kookin' With Krista: June 2009
http://kookinwithkrista.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Recently the hubby and I ventured to the coast of Connecticut with his parents and his sister and her husband to visit his Grandmother, Uncle, and extended family. We had a really nice time relaxing and vegging out, but had to do some celebrating because it was my hubby's 30th birthday! It was SO easy (I am pretty sure an 8 year old could do it.). The best part is that you do not have to have ANY cake decorating supplies to do it. 2 boxes Yellow Cake Mix and ingredients to make mix.

Kookin' With Krista: Brown Bag Burritos
http://kookinwithkrista.blogspot.com/2010/03/brown-bag-burritos.html
Wednesday, March 3, 2010. I recently bought a bag of pre-marinated chicken fajita meat on sale at Kroger, and decided to make it for dinner on Monday night. However, it made a TON. I think I could have easily fed 6-8 people with the amount of meat in that package! So, instead of having fajitas for 3 nights in a row, I decided to get creative and make some changes to this brown bag burrito. Recipe. Oh. My. Goodness. They were delicious! Here is what I used:. Left over chicken fajita meat ( 1 lb). A Day in...
