The Stewarts In Africa. Tuesday, April 15, 2014. 5:21 AM Posted by Sean and Meredith Stewart. Friday, we went back out to Lukhuna to visit Caroline. Schools have closed after the completion of the first semester of the school year. We were going to meet her other three children that stay with their mom. We were also going out there for another purpose. After the last blog Meredith wrote about Caroline, a family in Canada responded and have committed to pay for the school fees of Caroline’s children.

The Stewarts In Africa: May 2015
http://stewartsinafrica.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
The Stewarts In Africa. Monday, May 4, 2015. 6:06 AM Posted by Sean and Meredith Stewart. I have found skirts and tops at the market, prices ranging from $1.00-6.00. Sean has found jeans, t-shirts and collared shirts for the same prices. And when we find the gems, we are so excited. When we put the word out about Mama Jean's, we received donations for it, funding that will help the home over the next few months. Important side note:. Thank you so much friends! And thank You Jesus! In His Service,.

The Stewarts In Africa: Mama Jean's Home
http://stewartsinafrica.blogspot.com/2015/04/mama-jeans-home.html
The Stewarts In Africa. Thursday, April 9, 2015. 10:22 AM Posted by Sean and Meredith Stewart. Forever by Kari Jobe. It's the song I am currently listening to as I type this; so powerful, so true. He is constant; He is forever. I can't thank Him enough and ache to love Him even more. Jean Williams. Most people just knew her as Mama Jean. She loved street boys; her heart was huge for situations and people to help those boys was so evident. We all saw how much God used her and loved her. The family to Mama...

Tates in Kenya: November 2012
http://tatesinkenya.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Bible Studies and Devotional Thoughts. Friday, 9 November 2012. Baba Yetu (Swahili) - Our Father. Thursday, 8 November 2012. 8220;Ultimately, it doesn’t matter who wins the election. I know where my hope is – it is in God.” “I’ve read the back of the book and we win.”. These are all both great statements, aren’t they? So why am I feeling so despondent after my man didn’t win? What do you mean you don’t believe them,” you ask? I mean, God has used this election to reveal something to me about my heart.

Bible Studies and Devotional Thoughts. November 20, 2016. I can't believe it's been a year since my last post here! Lots of changes in the last year! Emily was married this past August. I can't believe it! She has a husband, and I have a son-in-law! His name is Igor Solomon Levit, and we really like him; he is already a part of the family. They are currently living in Michigan. Emily and Igor's first dance and Mr. and Mrs. Igor Levit. There was even an RVA contingency at the wedding! We are still waiting...

Tates in Kenya: Another Chloe Update
http://tatesinkenya.blogspot.com/2014/11/another-chloe-update.html
Bible Studies and Devotional Thoughts. Wednesday, 19 November 2014. I hope this finds you all doing well and truly basking in God’s love and grace! As little Chloe sleeps in her bassinet just a few feet away from me, I am amazed at the beautiful analogy God has given us. What parent hasn’t rejoiced over their little ones? What parent hasn’t quieted their little ones with whispered words of love? What parent hasn’t rocked their child and let their joy spill out into timeless lullabies? I will keep you upd...

Tates in Kenya: August 2013
http://tatesinkenya.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Bible Studies and Devotional Thoughts. Sunday, 18 August 2013. Well, I can't believe how quickly this term has gone. It seems like just yesterday we were leaving the States to come back to Kenya, and now, here we are 2 years later going back to the States. Unreal. We are currently in Nairobi - having said good-bye to all our dear friends in Kitale and to all our pets :-( - waiting to go to the airport at midnight tonight. Amy and Princess - our prodigal cat. Praying she's still here when we return. But, ...

Bible Studies and Devotional Thoughts. Saturday, 25 July 2015. Unto The Least of These: A Story About the Plight of Handicapped Children in Rural Kenya. Picture credit: Kevin Carter. A little later that year, 1993, this picture won Mr. Carter a Pulitzer Prize. He told a friend, "I'm really, really sorry I didn't pick the child up." Haunted by the horrors he had seen on the field, Mr. Carter killed himself a few months after winning the prize. Teddy in the hospital. Can you imagine the horror? One day you...
