Saturday, August 1, 2015. Old Fall River Road. We took a dirt road to the top of the world today! Old Fall River Road was open to the Alpine Visitor's Station in Rocky Mountain National Park. Reese didn't care much for the cliffs and switchbacks, but it was so worth the drive! We came back down on Trail Ridge Road. Beautiful waterfall about a mile up! Top of the world! Saturday, September 27, 2014. Reese ran a great race today! He came in 19th overall for the Varsity runners! Pretty remarkable for a freshman! He finished in 17:29. Second place for his team. Friday, July 31, 2015. Also beautiful. About 0.5 miles up the mountain from Bear lake. Had a few hours after we arrived in Estes Park to drive around Rocky Mountain National Park. This lake was gorgeous! We drove through a couple of college campuses on our way to Estes Park Friday morning. Colorado School of Mines. Reese on the track that overlooks the soccer fields. University of Colorado (Mike and I were waiting for lightning bolts to strike us down). Cam is a better mascot. LOL). MLS All Stars soccer.
