Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Johnny and I decided that we needed a new adventure in our lives so we got ourselves a puppy named Zoe. Zoe is a Shiba Inu and a very beautiful- and funny- pup. It definitely has been an adjustment having her around, but we seem to be getting into the swing of things again. Here are a couple of pictures for your enjoyment. :). Friday, June 10, 2011. At the beginning of this year I saw a link on the SUU website for local artist to submit samples of their work to be considered in the SUU Art Auction. I thought, well just submitting something sure doesn't hurt anything. So I submitted my samples and awaiting a response. I got an email back several days later, saying that SUU would be happy to include one of my pictures in the auction. I was thrilled! Thursday, February 3, 2011. I made a couple more purses for my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law. Pictures of the finished purses are below. Sunday, August 19, 2012. These last four months have gone by so fast. I can't believe how much Jade has grown and changed since she was born. I am going to try and do a post about her every month until a year and then every year after that so I can keep up on the things she is doing and how much she has changed. Tuesday, September 25, 2012. She pretty much refuses to sleep on her back, which at first kind of freaked me out since they say it is best for them to sleep on their back but she is comfortable and sleeps really good so I don't worry about it now. She has recently learned how to blow raspberries and did it constantly for a few days. It is so cute! She also drools an awful lot as you can see from this picture! Isn't this the cutest picture ever? She adores bath time! It is the cutest thing! The Place To Be.

Monday, December 10, 2012. A little over two months in and I am 23 pounds lighter and down two dress sizes! I am starting to feel so good about myself! I am about 6 pounds away from being at a healthy weight for my height and I couldn't be more happy about that. I would still like to lose another 20 pounds by the time I am done but I feel great about my progress and I am confident that I can get to where I want to be. I don't really have a before picture, but here is an "in progress" picture.

Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Here in Cedar everyone is given a free copy of the local newspaper, Iron County Today. A couple weeks ago I was looking at the paper and saw an article about a Fall Photo Contest. I haven't ever entered any photo contest and thought it could be fun and perhaps good experience to enter.
