One of the famous retired Emperor, Uda was living in this temple. And this temple was registered as a world heritage place. Tadasu Forest is called "Tadasu-no-mori" in Japanese. In 1864,Shinsengumi(gouverment killer) attacked revolutionists( Tyousyuuhan)in this inn. At that time, many revolutionists was killed by them. Friday, April 23, 2010.
