Friday, August 28, 2009. Back to School '09-10. This school year got off to a great start. No drama.just happy children! When Sophia started Kindergarten I saw this idea in Family Fun magazine about making a school bus cake. I wasn't expecting this to become a "tradition"(. I don't like to start out expecting something to be a tradition b/c just as soon as I do it will not work and then I would be sad and who wants to be sad. But it has.and Sophia is the one who reminds us that we need to do this one(.

Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Thankful 29 and 30. Last night as I was lying on the hard floor I realized I had forgotten to post for the day. I didn't get up because it hurt too much! As I was hanging up a towel at Trudy's on Sunday I felt a little "twinge" in my lower back. I knew what that would develop into! Ha I also got a blessing which sure helped. So this morning I am feeling better and walking straight again. I have done the laundry and put away our clothes from the weekend! Posted by the Villamor's.

Monday, January 17, 2011. It's that time of year again. Every winter i sit at my computer in my sweats, fuzzy socks and lap blanket searching active.com. For events I would like to 'complete'. Thursday, September 17, 2009. I have been reading a little on this blog. It is an amazing adoption story. They are in a court battle with the birthfather right now after the baby being in their home for a year! Say a prayer for them please! They have an open relationship with their son's birthmom. Wednesday, February 3, 2010. We love to get family pictures during our family gatherings. This has become a 'tolerated' tradition especially when visiting Grampie. Trudy explained this ritual well here. Since Grampie wasn't here to gather us all together for the picture we decided to do our best to capture the moment. Wednesday, June 9, 2010. This time last year we embarked on our Philippines adventure. That trip changed me in so many ways. I find myself getting pretty nostalgic as I think about our time there. I started a blog. Wanting to chronicle our trip but realized it might be easier just to print off the pictures and throw together a scrapbook.so that is what I am doing. Sunday, March 14, 2010. Is the natural number. 5 is the sum of the first five triangular numbers. Making it a tetrahedral number. 35 is the highest number one can count to on one's fingers using base 6. I betcha you didn't.I didnt either. Didn't know Wikipedia had entries for all the numbers. huh;). So what is so significant about this number? This is how old I will be on the 24th! Whyi have no idea. Maybe I secretly am upset about it? So Happy Birthday to me and take me out to lunch next Wednesday:).

Sunday, November 22, 2009. I(and alot of other fans of the Fia) can't believe she is a whole decade old! It just seems like yesterday we were in Sacramento picking up our little bundle! All 4 pounds of her! It just seems like yesterday when we discovered her soaked through her diaper on our first night with her.
