Doodlestains: December 2014
http://doodlestains.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 12, 2014. Hello blog, sorry I have neglected you! But I have not forgotten. The first semester of my 3rd year at Ringling has ended and it was quite busy. However, I think my work is improving slowly as I develop so - yay! Here's a look at some of the stuff I did:. First I'll show my animation works! These were our first "warm-up" exercises. I enjoyed them, but think I was relatively "safe" with their scope. Next on the will be the work I put out in my DFA class, which teaches design pri...

Monday, April 29, 2013. Last couple weeks have been crazy for me. Especially the this past weekend, but it is almost over. Here's some work I've done! Final project for one of my classes. Is based off of the work below. These pics are of my final 3D Design project. Spent significantly more time on my character than his environment! I'll post another animation piece in the very near future! Thursday, April 4, 2013. Shadows make the mind wander. Here's a quick project. When I have the time of course. Kyle ...

Doodlestains: January 2013
http://doodlestains.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Animation - at last! I've begun learning animation and it's pretty awesome. After four minor projects: ball bounce, light ball bounce, heavy ball bounce, and a perspective ball bounce, I am comfortable enough to post two animations I did. The goal in all of these is to show our ability to mimic physics combined with squash/stretch and others! The first is the ball bounce with a tail to help understand the principle of follow through. Doodlestains: Figures y mas Figures
http://doodlestains.blogspot.com/2014/02/figures-y-mas-figures.html
Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Figures y mas Figures. Here are a couple "storytelling" images. They should sum up the entire story in a single image. I wonder why they call them storytelling images, then? One of these two was selected to continue on to create an animatic. And the following should give an idea as to which one. Sir BOSLEY. I thought Sir Rogaine would be too obvious? Anyways, as the title of this post suggests. Figures! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Tuesday, August 27, 2013. The title is a scientific term. Look it up. But in all seriousness, here is finally another solid update. Below is a finished quadruped walk cycle. Doberman was used to base the model on. On a VERY different note. More to come - IN.In.in.THE.The.the.FUTURE.Future.future. Monday, August 5, 2013. Been a while since I've posted anything - primarily because I don't think I have too much to post. Until now. Here are the results! Left to right top to bottom = first attempts to last.

Doodlestains: January 2014
http://doodlestains.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Well, it's been close to three decades since I last updated this thing and I think it's due for some love. The fall semester is now past finished and, needless to say, once again, I learned a ton. This time most of the learning involved softwares (Maya and Premiere). All the animatics definitely helped me speed up my thinking, thumbing, executing process for compositions. A successful start to the animation film world, I think! Next are my last two animatic assignments. T...
