Tuesday, June 9, 2009. I am so happy to announce that we are moving! Brad was offered a new job teaching for St. Mary's High School in Pleasants County, WV. I won't say much more than this has been a terrible year for our family, and we are happy to get a fresh start. I'm grateful to Heavenly Father for helping us to learn and grow through our trials, and thankful for the new doors that he has opened for us. I know that this job is truly an answer to our prayers and I feel very blessed! I love kindergart...

Monday, July 20, 2009. My beautiful baby has turned into such a handsome boy. Where have the years gone? I remember the day he was born, and the many sleepless nights that followed. I remember his first steps and his first words. In a few weeks, we'll get to experience his first day of school. I couldn't ask for a more special, talented, handsome, wonderful child. What an amazing five years this has been. I can only hope he knows how much his mommy and daddy love him! The birthday boy with Mommy and Daddy.

Friday, February 27, 2009. A Place for Everything, and Everything in its Place. I have been super motivated this week. Since we've moved to the eastern panhandle, I feel like I have had no motivation to be a homemaker. But suddenly this week, the bug bit me. So this is two months later, but September 14, 2010 McKinley turned 3! We had a little Princess lunch with some 3 year-olds in the neighborhood - Sophie, Anna, Saphirah and Kayla. They all dressed as princesses, ate lunch, danced and played. McKinley wanted a castle cake, but after a debacle involving the use of baking mix instead of cake flour, the cake was an crown, in case you cannot tell.
