Thursday, July 2, 2009. Last month, W and I traveled up with Mom, Dad, Haley and Hayden to our farm in North Alabama over the Memorial Day weekend. It was a great weekend of R&R, spending time with our family. We arrived late that Friday evening, so W didn't even know where is was when he woke up. When dad told him to look out the window and look at the cows, he almost lost his breath he was so excited! He'd never seen them in 'real life'. So later, they had to go see them even closer. Typical of the Florida summer season, which I always find ironic for the tourists who chose to bless us with their presence this time of year. They save up their money to visit Mickey Mouse and the like, and it rains on them the entire time - so sad!
