ENG200

Monday, November 5, 2007. The Future of Life. If a president is elected who could care less about the environment, what are the chances that the country as a whole will change any sort of direction in conserving and protecting the environment. Even if there are smaller political figures fighting for environmental issues, it is an uphill battle to gain any sort of ground on the issue. Posted by Celeste @ 10:19 AM. ENG200: September 2007

http://writingabouttechnology.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Cyberhood vs. Neighborhood. In the beginning of the article, Barlow describes the change in America's rural and suburban population patterns with the decline in farming and the increase of industry. I enjoyed his comment about "the combination of television and suburban population patterns" being "simply toxic to the soul" (344). I find it humorous. At this time. While most of them were following the band, how many were really sitting at home on their computers? And one last ...

ENG200: Connections

http://writingabouttechnology.blogspot.com/2007/09/connections.html

Friday, September 21, 2007. This essay makes me wonder where society will be in ten or twenty years. Handwritten letters used to be the norm. Does anyone even write little thank you notes anymore or is everything e-mails or something to that effect? Posted by Celeste @ 10:30 AM. Subscribe to Post Comments [ Atom. ENG200: Identity Crisis

http://writingabouttechnology.blogspot.com/2007/09/identity-crisis.html

Friday, September 21, 2007. First of all I want to say that I wrote a great response to Turkle's. Article, saved it, came back to retrieve it and it was gone. So here's my second shot. I found the article, Identity Crisis, difficult to read at first. After the third or fourth time going through it, I finally got what the author is saying. I split the article up into different sections to analyze. The first section does not concern me much, discussing MUDS. These technologies might stimulate the imaginati...

Writing About Stuff

The stuff of life. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. About Me (or Adventures in Self-Publishing). Seen on my Commute. My Therapist Dumped Me. May 17, 2015. I have often had the vague sense that professional counseling would be good for me. I’m a bundle of confusion and insecurities with some addictive behavior thrown in for flavor. Late last year, when I began to create a budget for 2015, I thought, “What’s the point? I had read “ Willpower’s Not Enough. I went to the Find a Therapist.

Writing About Stuff And Things | Because the title "Stuff and Things" was already taken

Writing About Stuff And Things. Because the title Stuff and Things was already taken. To my Mormon friends on gay marriage. Hello, fellow Mormons! To start off on where I stand, I am also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As we know, our doctrine states that marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator’s plan for the eternal destiny of His children. Some might argue that we still need to oppose gay marriage, because it’s de...

A 2-minute review of 2 hours of using Windows 10. August 1, 2015. I’ve used Windows 10 for all of two hours total so far, on a single machine (a Bootcamped MacBook), so obviously I feel confident giving an overall review at this point. Windows 10 is basically Windows 7 a (great) new coat of paint and polish the best ideas from Windows 8 a native package management tool for us nerds (finally! The Mission Control view from OS X a fun virtual assistant. Score: Fine/10, would install again. May 26, 2015.

Writing about the Journey | my findings along the way….

Writing about the Journey. My findings along the way…. An apology from a Stay at Home Mom. January 9, 2015. Before Christmas my church started a study on Genesis. I love Genesis! During the week we studied the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11), at small group, a question was asked that has stuck in my brain. 8220;What are some ways Christians make a name for themselves? I think it is so easy to think we are beyond this. This account has always been so silly to me. Seriously, people? That one got me…....It does...
