Sunday, October 24, 2010. Behind the Scenes of Ivan and Jingmin's Wedding. Ivan and Jingmin's wedding - finally, they are married. It has been quite a while since I last touched my camera for and event such as this, yet the camera still feels natural to me. It has probably become an extension of myself where the camera and I are one, just as how Samurais and their swords are as one. O.o heh. Everything was ready, and everyone was eagerly waiting for the veiling of the bride. And when the bride finally ap...

Caricatures of the Carnicus: We the "Pesky Parasitic Pests"/Students of Singapore, bring business to Starbucks.

Wednesday, October 20, 2010. We the "Pesky Parasitic Pests"/Students of Singapore, bring business to Starbucks. Just when I thought that I found the perfect place - with a nice, quiet ambiance, almost Zen because of the general lack of traffic - to mug, the place was crawling with all these other students hording the place when I came back the following day. I can't help but to draw such a parallel between pests and us Singaporean students. It is really the perfect metaphor, in my opinion. The problem wi...

July 5, 2009. Wordpress has run its course. It’s been a good wordpress with 955 posts so far and I usually have a habit of leaving my blogs near 1000. So I’ve moved to jotterbookconstruct.tumblr.com. I like the community there and hope you’d like it too. Warning though, you’ll never hear me talking about school again…I hope. Trallallala goodbye. From → Uncategorized. July 1, 2009. I got bored tonight and decided to note down the music i have. I know it’s nothing to be proud of and the music inside is a work in progress. Anyway it’s just a list at the page called “music library”. Anyway i was just wondering why there have been less and less coughing and sneezing in the exam halls? Are they actually scared to be sent home? From → Uncategorized. Larr; what will they teach us. The cool kids, the not so cool kids and the…nevermind. →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Jessie la...

What will they teach us. June 29, 2009. I don’t like how there are so many things to learn about economics from wikipedia that they don’t teach us like the cobweb model, the true nature of pareto optimality, what ceteris paribus truly connotes and everything else in between. They do teach them in other schools but not in meridian. I’m guessing because they couldn’t trust us with the basic syllabus so why bother giving us more right? From → Uncategorized.
