Day by day to a better smile. Thursday, December 6, 2007. Any other day I would never post pictures of me that are this bad. but these pictures have nothing to do with beauty, but everything to do with progress. The first one was taken on Dec. 4th. that would be 2 weeks post SARPE. Not sure the size of the gap. These next 2 I took them within the last hour. which puts them at day 16 and I have done 19 turns so far. I have 5 turns left. unless the Dr. says more when I see him on the 11th. Nice looking gap...

Wednesday, 23 September 2009. I learned an important lesson today. If your toothpaste tube is all gummed up and you feel like squeezing it harder, point it somewhere else than your right eye. I am very ready to get to the point where I DONT have to take a toothbrush with me no matter where I go. 5 and a half weeks to go until surgery day! Monday, August 30, 2010. The splint is improving. I played clarinet for a long while today (after taking the summer off hoping to help with jaw pain) and my jaw was quite sore and my head was throbbing - the instant I put the splint in at home my headache lessened. I'm still not overly enthused about it - I'm not sure it's doing all the good it was supposed to. It's also giant and looks quite humorous in - I look like a linebacker. I'll post a picture as soon as I remember. That would make me so sad!
