Beehive Ladies Book Society: February March Book Club Dinner
http://beehiveladiesbooks.blogspot.com/2015/08/february-march-book-club-dinner.html
February March Book Club Dinner. Molly hosted our March gathering at her lovely villa, with lots of spice and candle light to ward away the rain. We all admitted to knowing very little about this president and or the situation that lead to his death. Lots of history twists and turns, plus great food and fellowship. Behind the Beautiful Forevers: Life Death and hope in Mumbai Undercity. The food was a mix of Indian cuisine, vegetables , rice, salad and a dump cake (they lived in a dump) plus an interesting after- dinner tea. Overall a good read, great food and a good gathering. Next month we are reading And The Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini. The meeting will be at Molly's house on September 26th. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Girl in the Red Coat by Kate Hamer. Jessica's Blog: Garden = AMAZAZING!
http://jesa818.blogspot.com/2011/09/garden-amazazing.html
Saturday, September 10, 2011. Some shots just took of our pumpkin patch a growing pumpkin, growing cucumber, and two pumpkin plants that volunteered to grow after putting a barrier down and gravel! Next year will be more fruitful! It was a weird spring so hard to tell when to plant the crops. Next year we'll get a start regardless of what the weather does. I really need to plant a garden. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. After work on Friday, I headed down 395 towards Mammoth Lakes to meet some friends who were driving up from Santa Barbara for a weekend of mountain biking. The always lovely foothills of Nevada. Mountains in the distance. It was pretty dry and brown and not that attractive. Then, all of a sudden, there was a lake! I kept driving for another hour or so, and reached the scenic viewpoint for Mono Lake (pronounced Moe-Noe). Sadly, this picture does not do Mono Lake. On Day Two, I he...
