Candace's World: December 2009
http://candacesamazingworld.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 11, 2009. Not only does this time of the year bring cold (20 degree highs this last week), but it also brings the Spirit of Christmas. Last Saturday I had a primary party at my house and my little eleven year olds helped me decorate my Christmas tree. We got it done with only breaking one ornament. I think they did a great job as you see above. I've also really been enjoying the lights, music, and little things that remind me of the Savior's birth. Merry Christmas everyone!

Sunday, January 3, 2010. Mom, Aly, Taunya, and I went to see the film, Invictus, over the holidays. It was just as exciting as the day I experienced the big Springbok game in 1995 in Johannesburg. To those who have seen or will see the movie, here are a few pictures you'll relate to:. Here's the team minus Chester. Francois Pienaar is sitting in the front fourth from the left. Here's the footage of the actual end of the game and moment:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Brian and Amanda Turpin.

Thursday, January 15, 2009. Mom's Purse was stolen. Mom and Dad didn't make a big deal out of the episode at the Idaho Falls temple on December 30. We came out of the temple to find the suburban's window smashed in and Mom's purse gone. We spent a little time calling the bank, credit cards, police, etc. covered the window with a blanket and got back to Blackfoot. Most of my pictures didn't turn out, but this one of Boyce says it all. What a wonder Christmas is. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Loie Wandering ...

Candace's World: August 2009
http://candacesamazingworld.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 23, 2009. Where Did My Summer Go? Is summer already over? It went so fast and quite a few significant things occurred. I'll start with the most recent and work my way back. I attended the open house in July and in Utah we had no church meetings today so we could attend the dedication. The big message I gleaned from some of the talks were our choices to be obedient will lead us to the temple and the blessings that can only be gained there. Grandma Turpin and Uncle Marlan. I went with Mom, D...

Sunday, April 11, 2010. Is it already April? March was a whirlwind of activity that brought many to Bountiful, Utah. All I can say is I have an amazing family who have been very supportive and handy at fixing things. Me, Janice (Library director), and Susan (My co-worker). The night I flew back, I got the keys to my townhome, dropped a trunk full of stuff off, and came back the next morning and have been working on it ever since. Brad and Laree were kind and let me stay at their home the evenings I worke...
