Pin Fiddle Quilts: March 2014
http://pinfiddlequilts.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, 15 March 2014. My little ray of sunshine (sometimes) Beth joined all us serious stitchers on Thursday night at the Merville group. So 3 generations there, which was great. And she said she really enjoyed it because all the girls were lovely and there was a warm relaxed atmosphere. Her words. She needs to learn a skill for part of her Gold Duke of Edinburgh and if I teach her sewing she will take me to the Palace. I think. She's got this far. Me on the other hand. Life is good in between. I desi...

Pin Fiddle Quilts: January 2014

Friday, 24 January 2014. I have been playing again. Printing and inking and painting and messing! In my sketchbook first. And then on white cotton. I generally just had a lot of fun with this one piece of polystyrene cut into a bird shape. The polystyrene is from a pizza packaging. Pin Fiddle Quilts: December 2013
http://pinfiddlequilts.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, 5 December 2013. Ok, so I haven't made a cushion fit for a gallery, but I have made one with some Art Gallery Fabrics. (Carnaby Street by Art Gallery Fabrics). I have just finished it this morning, complete with binding, which I have never done before. I did curve the corners but next time I would curve them even more. And a zip centre back. I googled how to insert piping on a cushion and also how to insert zips. But alas it's not a happy ending. I need to introduce this. Monday, 2 December 2013.
