Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Force 10 Cozy Cabin. Here are some close-ups of the heater install. Ben bought it used on craigslist and it had everything included except the wooden ring beneath the vent, which Ben cut out of some scrap wood we had lying around (yes, believe it or not, we have scrap wood lying around. or more correctly, tucked into random places) on our boat. This is a view of the vent from the topsides. The vent cap is screwed on to. We have the heater hooked to the same solenoid as the oven ...

kumatage (reflections): In Quest of Ordinary
http://rum-blin.blogspot.com/2012/12/in-quest-of-ordinary.html
In Quest of Ordinary. October 2012; better living through chemistry. When you're a kid, all you want to do is fit in, be unremarkable, ordinary. Day of my young life was a bad hair day with my kind of hair. So I'm letting my straight, shiny hair grow back out, and I'll cut it short and curly for our next cruise. I'll go wash-and-wear, and just be my unfiltered self. (and save both money and water, too! Posted by Dan N Jaye. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Adventures of Sonador (Melissa). I'd like to ...

It's hot. It's sticky-icky humid Washington in summertime hot, and the aircon can't keep up. And I'm sitting here, dripping, and basically waiting for evening when it cools down. Waiting for the day to be over. What's wrong with that? To have an extra day before (whatever-it-was) was due. Or my friend whose husband has only a few more months to live, I'm sure she would gratefully take this day, sticky-icky temperature and all, and add it to his dwindling supply if she could. Or at least, on my attitude?
