Heart defects: learn more. Pulse ox: learn more. The photos below have watermarks because (sadly) there exist a-holes out there that like to steal photos of sick babies and slap a "share and this baby gets $1 for a heart transplant" caption under it. Which, by the way. Is ALWAYS false. If you ever see that kind of photo, whether it's an adult, baby, dog, or what have you, with a caption of "FB will donate $1.etc", they are never, ever, ever,. Here he is three days old. My favorite picture of him. Mountai...

Heart defects: learn more. Pulse ox: learn more. More then a holiday. Father's Day has many reasons to different people. It's a day to thank you father for being there, being supportive, loving, and for teaching you those lessons that do not come easy for a parent. For loss parents it has a whole new meaning. A day to celebrate being a dad.but what if your child isn't with you anymore? It's a very painful reminder of what you have lost and what you will never be able to celebrate with that child anymore.

Heart defects: learn more. Pulse ox: learn more. I seriously feel like a first time mom. It is the strangest feeling. Even though my son will be 5 (what? In two months, it's like he was here the whole time; like he's always been a part of our family and this is my first time having a newborn. Weird I know, but I have a theory. So Hubby and I were a new couple when Babygirl arrived. Well that's a good thing" you say. There was no "well, we hear something wrong in her heart" or "we have scheduled you for a...

And Then There Were 3. Monday, February 27, 2012. Two in less than a year. Early this morning my father in law passed away. I remember the day that we got the news that he had cancer. It hit us like a ton of bricks and we screamed at God why our family. We had found out not to much before that, that Olivia was going to be born with half a heart. Our family was crushed and we knew what we had to do. FIGHT. and that is what both Olivia and Chris Sr did. We are so proud of the fight that BOTH Olivia and Dad...

Heart defects: learn more. Pulse ox: learn more. On average, people diagnosed with Mesothelioma are given 10 months to live. She was given just 15 months to live. Rib, half of her diaphragm and the lining of her heart. After recovering from surgery, a couple months later she started chemotherapy. After a few mon...She h...
