Saturday, October 6, 2012. 2012 Nicol-Brown Amateur Invitational winner. Alexander was the winner of the 2012 Nicol-Brown Amateur Invitational event in Albany, New York on Saturday November 6th. He placed 1st in the Piobaireachd, winning the Robert Nicol-Robert Brown Chalice for Piobaireachd; 1st in the March, Strathspey and Reel winning the William Ross Challenge Targe; and 5th in the 6/8 March. The overall winner receives airfare to compete at the Scottish Piping Society of London. History of the Event.

Friday, March 21, 2014. First year as a Pro contestant: Top 3 finalist in the BCPA Pro Knockouts. Alexander survived the first two rounds of the prestigious British Columbia Pipers' Association Pro Knockout event and finished in the top 3 at the Final on March 15th. Thursday, November 15, 2012. George Sherriff Memorial Amateur Invitational Saturday 11/17. Alexander, as the Grand Aggregate winner in the BC Pipers' Association for the 2011/2012 season, was invited again to the prestigious George Sherriff Memorial Amateur Piping Competition. Alexander leaves the Northwest Thursday and will meet up with some good friends he's met at other events worldwide. Alexander won the Piobaireachd contest. At this event last year. Winter Storm: Cameron Drumming Studios – Midwest Highland Arts Fund Drumming Competiion on January 11, 2013. Alexander played for band mate Colin Hearty in the Grade 1 Championship at Winter Storm.
