It is hard to imagine arriving in Guatemala a week ago because so much has happened in so little time. After our gloves and hats have been removed, this work experience has uncovered a unique perspective of life in Guatemala. Be an example - It is an invitation, not an obligation. Dinner was a spectacle. We ate on top a mountain, on the roof of a small restaurant, looking over Antigua, Guatemalan life flickered beneath us. As always, the food was delicious. Today we laughed and cried in a matter of hours.

Day 4: First day on the build site (Kathy). After living the tourist life for two very stressful days (for Kathy and Kaylee) and two very relaxing and fun-filled days (for almost everyone else), we began the work portion of our trip.
