Though I continued our tradition, simply writing bigger in hope that even if she couldn't read it, the steady stream of letters and postcards would keep her updated on our goings-on and let her know I was thinking of her, even though I was far away. Love my baby. My dad loved her too. Boy did he adore her. The day Kala'i was born my dad was in the hospital and we stopped by on the way home to introduce the two of them. We had to sneak her in.
