Chicken Lickin´ Good: This clip is insane
http://kiplekker.blogspot.com/2009/07/this-clip-is-insane.html
Wednesday, July 08, 2009. This clip is insane. I don´t know whether to feel sorry for CNN´s Anderson Cooper for having to try and make sense out of Sarah Palin´s PR officer Meg Stapleton or for Ms Stapleton having to explain the actions of her erratic boss. But one thing is for sure: this 5 minutes 49 seconds only proves that no normal logic works for Sarah Palin as a politician. Next move: we just sit and wait for Levi Johnston´s tell-it-all book on the Palin family. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Chicken Lickin´ Good: Reclaim The Public
http://kiplekker.blogspot.com/2010/03/reclaim-public.html
Thursday, March 25, 2010. Originally uploaded by Sameli. I have spent approximately 1-2 days lately working at the National Library. This place is amazing. It is incredibly quiet, as central as things can get, equipped with an astonishing collection of material and a café downstairs. The great thing is that you cannot take your bag in so you have to think what you need. Let´s reclaim places like these. Let´s start at the library and work our way to the City Hall. We have somehow forgott...I mean what caf...

PD Globbers: What a difference a decade makes
http://pdglobbers.blogspot.com/2011/04/what-difference-decade-makes.html
Thoughts and Analyses on Public Diplomacy. April 1, 2011. What a difference a decade makes. As esteemed Guest Lecturer Efe Sevin pointed out, Anholt has chosen to update and asterisk his own* theory of nation branding from 10 years ago, from nation branding to "competitive identity." But the world has changed too, in his defense, and I’ve never been a fan of theories that can’t be put into practice. That’s something that hasn’t changed at all. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Public Diplomacy, Networks and Influence. Laquo; The Elcano Global Presence Index. Why David Cameron’s Campaign Against ‘Extremist Ideology’ Will Fail. What’s More Limited? Chinese Influence or the Concept of Soft Power. July 14, 2015. I’m writing a chapter for a forthcoming Handbook of Soft Power so I’m kind of grumpy about the whole thing again. In this frame of mind in the last week I’ve spotted a couple of pieces about the limits of Chinese soft power. Notably one by Joe Nye. Tagged Chinese Soft Power.

PD Globbers: PD Quotes of the Week
http://pdglobbers.blogspot.com/2011/04/pd-quote-of-week.html
Thoughts and Analyses on Public Diplomacy. April 3, 2011. PD Quotes of the Week. Researching on Turkey's international broadcasting, I came across a great piece by Al Ahram. From a year ago. Discussing the various aspects of Turkey's (then) new Arabic-language broadcaster. Another interesting piece on a similar subject. That of Turkish Soap Operas - was published by Foreign Policy. Around the same time. Here's an excerpt:. If only the sultans knew that it could be done on the cheap, they could have dispa...
