An article in this week's Mail states " a spokeswoman for the Office of the Gene Technology Regulator defended its decision, saying it was the end result of an exhaustive consultation process. Who was this consultation with, how many citizens in the Shire of Yarra Ranges knew about it, what did they get to contribute to the debate? An exhaustive consultation suggests we all knew about it, we all had an opportunity to respond - but we didn't.
