http://piratecrochet.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 10, 2008. For all of those who care and or read this little blog I hereby promise to upload pictures and descriptions of all of my recent hats, and all of the crochet objects that I have on hand by the end of the week. I will showcase all of them on my blog in one immense post, on my ravelry, and some will make it onto my. Etsy shop. For me this is a huge promise but my word is my bond. Now I'm going on break. Sunday, March 9, 2008. I've posted these over at my Etsy Shop - Pirate Crochet. But here's a list of new things that I have finished. This is what I am calling the Classic Pirate, since to me it brings to mind images of pirates wearing those red and white striped bandanna's. I like to call this one blood flow, because at some point a pirate is going to get a sword in the skull and the blood will flow. The crosshatch puff stitches are the crossed bones of fallen brothers of the pirate brotherhood.

Finding her way through life with her partner, her cat, her bicycles, and some yarn. Getting in the spirit. December 17, 2011. I’m not a big Christmas music person. I don’t wear red and green or holiday sweatshirts. I don’t fill the house with garlands of pine or popcorn or lights. But I do make Christmas trees from recycling, and put presents under them. Stockings have been hung and the house is tidy and warm. And the radio even said we might get flurries in the morning! Love life and laughter. This is ...

Wednesday, May 23, 2007. So i've had this sweater that i stenciled the crimson ghost on the back for awhile and recently i decided that it needed to be a zip up! So i went for it i cut up the front and "sewed" in a black zipper. i wanted a pink one but i couldn't find one, but i guess i could always change it if i wanted. also i thought this had to have the word Misfits on the front so i did that as well. here it is. I forgot to take a picture of the front before i put in the zipper. Here are the legs.

Wednesday, January 23, 2008. You will basically be doing the same work just make sure you hold the brim so it curves away from you not towards you, so the brim is right-side up when you turn it right-side out. Then you might want to do a single crochet around the bottom of the "Back" piece and the "Side" pieces and slip stitching along the inside curve of the brim. I've been struggling to figure that out. Now my dad can finally get his hat. May 5, 2009 at 8:21 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
