The 2000's: In January, 2000 I was three weeks away from 17; my family had recently moved to Santa Barbara and I was attending SB City College full time. Started shedding some of my excess weight.

We will remember this when we are old and ancient. Jun 30th, 2009. That makes sense on one hand, but on the other hand, we live in Oregon. It's not like this was the first time the ground had gotten wet, so why now? My other theory is that it wasn't actually the hose that cause the leak but the outside faucet it's self. I would say there are things that I used to be, that I am no longer, and one day I will likely say the same of my present self. Things I thought were difinitive and unyielding. Now seem utterly confused and a little silly. But who doesn't feel that way about their adolesence once they are able to look back from a distance?

When I took on this job it was a really busy time with school and such. Then Christmas happened, and I'm sure you all know how that is. But either way, things will be settling down next week just before my exams, and then I will be able to spend more time here, and hopefully get around to writing some fic! I suppose we can hope!
