Who needs magick when you have amusing serendipity? Fengi - lies, damn lies and statistics. Insane friends of friends extrapolation. Who needs magick when you have amusing serendipity? Jan 15th, 2015 10:05 pm. I really enjoyed Love Is The Law. A classic noir story which incorporates Marx, Crowley, Punk and Harriet the Spy. Adding to the fun was excellent packaging - a truly pocket sized paperback (similar dimensions to classic pulp editions) with an awesome cover. And Derek Jarmans The Tempest. Then I to...

Obama supports fast track for the anti-democratic Trans Pacific Partnership. It's a treaty the public is not allowed to read that grants unprecedented power to private corporations over elected governments and he's asking to pass it without even the ritual of debate and scrutiny from our elected legislature.

A louder noise, a better rome. Deeeeeep breath. - ira, gula, luxoria. Heavy as their holes are deep. 31 December 2005 @ 11:46 am. I finished my new story last night, and i'm proud to say that it's the first piece of unprompted writing i've done in years. however, like david tibet (another aickman ripper-offer), i really only have a handful of themes. (any idea on how many times i've milked the tent orgy thing? Edward said, without as much as a hello. The Secret History of the Mongols. Edward put his fing...

Tweedle dee - Primordial Soup. Jun 29th, 2015 10:30 pm. I got a letter from the Office of Personnel Management informing me that my information may have been compromised by the recent security breach(es). I dutifully signed up for the free identity monitoring offered by OPM; I think the enrollment lasts 18 months. Yeah, I know, my relatives really like Candy Crush Saga. Diversions - Primordial Soup. Aug 4th, 2015 09:48 pm. I think I need to do more things outside of work. I'm not sure what, exactly. The local literacy council requires more time (and money) than the council I previously volunteered for, which is too bad. The local library is a bit over a mile away. I definitely can't put in 2 to 4 hours per week (the minimum required) while I have freelance work. I've always liked the old European salon. Brent hesitated a bit ("we're not going to feed everyone, are we?

A few statements about popular culture that I believe are true - Gordonzola. March 4th, 2013. 09:47 am - A few statements about popular culture that I believe are true. 1 Downton Abbey may have been watchable in its first season or so but degenerated into mindless Aristocrat porn long ago. 2 Top Chef is anticlimactic year after year. Still fun to watch, but the announcement of the winner is beside the point. 3 There is really nothing one can say about this interview with Chris Brown about CRASS. I didn't...

Wall-y - Primordial Soup. Jul 9th, 2015 09:11 pm. I can think of few efforts (war on drugs, war on terror) that are as futile as building walls along national borders. It's an old impulse. Sumer may not have been a nation, exactly, but one of its rulers built a 270-km wall. Spanning the land between the Tigris and Euphrates over 4000 years ago. The Great Wall of China took over 1000 years. To complete. It may be the only successful border fence. There have been enough border fences to fill an entire book.

Phanatics - Primordial Soup. Jul 20th, 2015 11:01 pm. We spent nearly 48 hours in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, starting Saturday around 2:30 pm Our first task: a Phillies game. For those of you not prone to interest in sports ball, I'll mention that I was a little nervous about this game. Philadelphia sports fans have a very bad reputation. I am not Santa Claus or a small child, so I half expected to be beaten up, covered in vomit, or hit with a battery. 2015-07-21 03:48 am (UTC). 2015-07-22 03:20 am (UTC).

Someone is wrong on the internet! Syrians, Shibboleths, and Christian Mercy It is no secret that I think that the Republican candidate. November 19th, 2015. TV on the Radio. Staring At The Sun. Powered by Last.fm. It is no secret that I think that the Republican candidates for the presidency, along with most of the Republican governors, misunderstand the Bible. But I am constantly impressed by the deep cuts they find of Bible stories to misinterpret. As the blogger Slactivist. Art thou an Ephraimite?
