Monday, June 7, 2010. Mr Burgess recently attended the Advanced course in Sleep Apnoea Surgery in Dalian China. New techniques for treating snoring and sleep apnoea were presented including radiofrequency treatment to the tongue designed to create more upper airway space. This offers an advanced way of alleviating sleep disordered breathing without the side effects of traditional treatment. Donate to the campaign. Worth the journey – Victoria’s story. Aug 18, 2016. I received my first pair of hearing aids shortly after being diagnosed with hearing loss at three years of age. A new round of assessments found that my hearing had deteriorated. I said, ‘Oh my goodness, I can hear the ‘S’ and ‘SH’ sounds’ – I really hadn’t heard them well before. The surgery was a massive success. It’s amazing the things I can hear now – like the sound of the fridge! Sign up using Facebook:. We will not share yo...

This will unlock more funding for services, more investment in research and better community education. Access to hearing checks s...
