Lights Camera DMA!: August 2006

Thursday, August 31, 2006. August 31, 2006. The gay boyfriend video's main point was good and seemed Christianly at times. I don't think that a Christian music video should use swear words, then again the Bible does not feel that gay relationships are right, so the video doesn't really glorify God at all. It's main message is that not just Christian girls are looking for kind, true friends as boyfriends that really care about them and their well being. Posted by Jessica @ 10:09 AM. Lights Camera DMA!: September 2006

Wednesday, September 27, 2006. I liked the effects used for the intro to this film a lot. The "fog" with the titles and the cut shots back and forth between the business guy getting ready for his day and the homeless guy getting ready for his. The downtown shots were really good. Posted by Jessica @ 6:33 PM. The different situations that the main character found himself in prove very true to how a Christian relationship with Jesus Christ plays out in real life. It was neat to see how the group put so...

Lights Camera DMA!: November 2006

Tuesday, November 21, 2006. Will any of those items have an everlasting effect on your life? Posted by Jessica @ 12:10 PM. This was my favorite music video shown in class. The animation looked simple, but there was a lot of work put into it. It was neat to "see" how the little boy looked up to his dad. His dad was a working class man that drove a tractor thing (JCB? Tuesday, November 28, 2006. It's time to discuss the class animations.that were done a month ago.oh well, better late than never, I suppose. I enjoyed this animation.the Sun and Earth puppets were well done, and the point was very clear.too much pollution could cause our protection from the sun to fade. Some of the acts of destruction were slightly more random than necessary (the woman on the beach exploding in a fiery ball.and did I see a flash of lightning? But it was still fun. While this PSA was fun ...

Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Posted by Jessica @ 11:42 AM. Friday, October 13, 2006. Posted by Jessica @ 12:22 PM. Hedgehog in the Fog. I also thought the part where the dog finds the hedgehog was really cute. It added a little stress relief from all of the previous "scary" sequences. I liked that you could see how the hedgehog was terrified by seeing him holding his hands over his eyes, even when the dog gave him back the bag of berries. Posted by Jessica @ 11:50 AM. Monday, October 16, 2006. Other Co Hoedeman Films. So it may be Fall Break, but I've actually got some time to work on this.so I will. Now, on to Charles and Francois. I still can not say that I understood this film. Sure the beginning is fine, where the boy and the grandfather "switch heads" to try and understand how the other thinks, but then as they both get older, they start getting closer and closer to the same age? Until the next one! Posted by LukeArtz at 3:58 PM. View my complete profile.

Friday, September 29, 2006. While stop-motion animation is not my absolute favorite form of animation, it does produce some very interesting and unique results, and I can definitely appreciate all the time and effort it takes to make them. Wallace and Gromit, Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride.very cool. Anyway, I'm tired and sick (head colds=not fun), so I'll end this for now.I might blog on more of them later.
