On 610 north of Dorton, Pike County. The first Post Office was established in this community in 1905. Myra was the daughter of the first Postmaster, Marquis Greer (“Kentucky Place Names” Robert M. This is the Post Office on the Micaville Loop. Micaville is in Yancey County between Burnsville and Spruce Pine. Just to the right of this building, State Highway 80S begins its climb to Mt.
