http://xomadewithlove.blogspot.com/2015/05/umbrella-prints.html
May 30, 2015. I'm pretty excited about this quilt. i've had a package of umbrella trimmings. For two years with the intention of making a quilt to enter into the contest. this year i pushed myself to complete it. Lately, i've found myself quilting based off of a lot of patterns, and while i have enjoyed what i'm making, i've felt rather bound. the arrival of daintytime's. And without a ruler. how freeing to just cut fabric and sew! Fabrics: solids and umbrella trimming package. Pieced and quilted by me.

Friday, 14 September 2012. Folk fun for friday! I love this pattern! Love the colour palette and it's whimsical folky feel. It is from my local fabric shop, and there is no 'brand' on it, so i can't really credit it.but it's sooo sweet. I have been working on a lot of my pattern designs lately, hence the 'once a week' blog action. I am actually working towards having the kooky-zu website up very soon.i am excited.but will post up some sneaky peeks of new patterns in the next couple of days.
