The Kelsey Adventures: October 2014
http://dagnykelsey.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
While Kate is at school on Tuesdays, James and I have been going to a free art class in Aurora. The program is funded through the state, so they are able to offer free art classes for kids 3-6 in the morning and 7-18 in the afternoon. The afternoon classes have a group called 'work study' and they teach kids how to create marketable art. They make really cool stuff! So far James has made a clay wind-chime, a clay pot, and a watercolor painting of fall trees. Oh how I love Denver. As we were getting ready...

The Kelsey Adventures: Baby
http://dagnykelsey.blogspot.com/2015/08/baby.html
A while back we found out what gender the baby is. We made the kids cupcakes and told them there was either pink or blue in the middle and that's how they would know if it was a boy or girl. This was the result. Monday, August 17, 2015. James really will be the man in the middle! Monday, August 17, 2015. I am so excited for you! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Then comes the baby girl in the baby carriage. Then comes the baby boy in the baby carriage. Just In Case You Missed It:. Life on Cherry Lane.

Couldn't Leaf it Alone. Nothing better than when the lawn care guys blow all the leaves into giant piles and then go home for the day. Guess Who Started Writing! The other day James totally surprised me by starting to write. It's pretty tricky to see- -so just squint your eyes a little bit, but I was super proud of him! More than that, it was fun to see how excited he was. He's grown quite a bit, don't you think? This year there was a farm theme. Kate lead us through the whole maze. There were lots of fu...

The Kelsey Adventures: Utah, Part 3
http://dagnykelsey.blogspot.com/2015/08/utah-part-3.html
Utah, Part 3. Curious how to give a 6, 5, 4, and almost 3 year old an awesome afternoon? Take them to the theater to see The Little Mermaid. These little princes and princesses LOVED it! As with every trip we take to Utah, we made sure to stop by the University of Utah.We spent a loooooonnnnnngggg time at the bookstore. I was ready to move on way before the kids were. They didn't want to leave! I don't remember this fountain being there when I went to the U. It's a really pretty addition. Subscribe to: P...

The Kelsey Adventures: Utah, Part 2
http://dagnykelsey.blogspot.com/2015/08/utah-part-2.html
Utah, Part 2. This picture pretty much sums up what this kids did almost every day in Utah: Play outside and eat popsicles. It wasn't always this messy, fortunately. James and Kate got to spend a whole morning with Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Cassie. The went to see puppies (Kate told me that she REALLY wanted to take one home. Someday Kate, someday.). The also went to Thanksgiving Point, which the kids LOVED! Our kids had an art party together. I also got to see my good friend Molly and her sweet son.

The Kelsey Adventures: December 2014
http://dagnykelsey.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas.well, minus some illness. Christmas Eve we had a candlelit dinner. Our tree was full of presents! The kids opened their first presents, the Polar Express movie (they're kind of obsessed with it) and Polar Express pajamas. James kept checking his pocket looking for a bell. After the movie (which I fell asleep in) we left out milk and cookies. On Christmas morning, we couldn't get James out of the bedroom because he was insisting on bringing his toys with him. James...

Speaking of cute pictures.here are some my friend Chrysti took of Kate for Easter. She makes a cute little Easter bunny, don't you think? Here they are, some of the pictures from James' birthday photo shoot. It was hard to pick my favorites! After the cake, we headed over to my friend Chrysti's house so that she could take pictures of James. They turned out SO CUTE! I'm going to save those for another post, though. For breakfast he had birthday toast. James is such a fun 4 year old! Red, yellow, and blue.

The Kelsey Adventures: March 2015

My 4 Year Old Firefighter. James wanted to have a firefighter/Planes Fire and Rescue party for his birthday. It was a fun party to plan! I resisted decorating until after James went to bed the night before because I wanted to surprise him. I'm glad I waited because he was so excited when he saw the flames everywhere. First the kids decorated firefighter hats with sticker. Then they colored pictures to put on the wall. The pictures are still hanging on our wall now several weeks later. Oh, and just for th...
