Twelve Months in the Creek: February 2009

http://www.twelvemonthsinthecreek.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html

Twelve Months in the Creek. Saturday, February 28, 2009. Two pictures from the COSI. Mary and David were much more excited than they look in the pictures.  They were (rightly) annoyed that Mom had to stop and take "proof we were here. Pictures.  We had a great time. Baby dolls are all the rage in our house this week.  A baby is the must-have accessory for boys and girls alike.  . If want to be part of this family, you'd better have a baby and blanket. Friday, February 27, 2009. The title of this post sho...

Twelve Months in the Creek: April 2009

http://www.twelvemonthsinthecreek.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Twelve Months in the Creek. Sunday, April 26, 2009. A haircut and a hiatus. Yesterday Mary got her haircut.  Even shorter.  In a moment of either brilliance or total stupidity I had the stylist cut her bangs really short.  (Brilliant:  Her bangs will be out of her eyes for six weeks.  Stupid:  Yeah, she looks a little dorky.). Slept the whole time in the arms of the nursery leader, who, incidentally, told me when I picked Mary up that I have a very, very beautiful daughter.). And about the hiatus I menti...

Twelve Months in the Creek: June catch-up: Boise trip

http://www.twelvemonthsinthecreek.blogspot.com/2009/07/june-catch-up-boise-trip.html

Twelve Months in the Creek. Wednesday, July 8, 2009. June catch-up: Boise trip. Last night we took Greg to the airport. (As the immediate family of a U.S. Armed Forces Service Member, David, Mary, and I got a special pass to accompany Greg all the way to his gate. Like in the olden days! Soon after our big road trip, we piled the kids back in the car for a trip up to Boise to visit my grandma, aunt, and my brother and his family. On the way, we stopped near Hagerman for a look at the Hagerman Fossil Beds.

Twelve Months in the Creek: November 2008

http://www.twelvemonthsinthecreek.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Twelve Months in the Creek. Sunday, November 30, 2008. Mary may be goofy and gleeful, but she's not as outgoing as her older brother.  It takes her a while- sometimes a very long while- to warm up to people.  But Mary took to Aunt Rachel like a fish to water. I think it all started when Rachel fitted Mary with a fashionable turkey crown.  Mary likes shoes, socks, hats, jackets, and all things accessory.  So giving Mary a headpiece of her own was bound to win her over. Cousins, cousins, cousins. On our la...

the aery beat: Bienvenidos

http://aerybeat.blogspot.com/2009/07/bienvenidos.html

Thursday, July 23, 2009. Welcome to my new blog! I considered maintaining the old original, but I am too averse to putting salad and mashed potatoes on the same plate. I assume you already know me and my little crew from real life and/or my previous blog, Twelve Months in the Creek. Which chronicled the last twelve (er, twelve plus. But that seems as if it could be rather tedious, so here's a quick introduction. I am Alisa, and this is my blog. Our year of separation. By the way, the title of my blog is ...

Thursday, July 29, 2010. Greg asked me this morning what I wanted to do today. I responded, "Laundry. Oh, and catch up on my blog.". David overheard this and thought it was hilarious that I wanted ketchup on my blog. I thought it was pretty hilarious too.). So here is the "ketchup":. First, a picture of my kids at the DQ. In some tiny town in the middle of nowhere West Texas that had nothing but a DQ. After we attended the temple.). Next, a typical view of the toy room at Grandma Evie's house. Tomorrow t...

Friday, May 28, 2010. In a package from Daddy. In case you didn't know, those are WORLD CUP jerseys. Honduras qualified for the World Cup this year- for the first time in 20 years- so this is a really big deal! Go, los Catrachos! Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Not really an update. At some point this has to stop, and we have to move somewhere. I just can't bear the thought of posting it on my blog.and then have the situation change again. The problem is that I'm still not sure the roller coaster ride is over.

Saturday, December 11, 2010. Annika playing with Aunt Katie. She was being so cute so I grabbed the camera and of course didn't catch a cute picture again. Sigh.but she is still cute. Caleb is also incredibly good looking. So one day I went in and Annika had dressed herself in this:. By the way, Caleb also loved that outfit and said he wanted to buy one like it. I said they don't make outfits like that for boys and he was really disappointed over it. Sunday, December 5, 2010. Thursday, December 2, 2010.

A Twelvemonth of Self Love |

What I am doing. Extending love to your thoughts. A Mantra for One. There's always something to look forward to. Just another WordPress.com site. The Five People You Meet in the Hospital. August 18, 2011. This post is actually not related or anything to Mitch Albom’s The Five People You Meet in Heaven. Although my title pretty much bothers me becauase it really sounds borrowed, I like the sound of it. Another, this should have been posted more than two weeks ago for my July entry but since I was inTOXICated, it’s obviously 18 days late. 1 The bosses with the white coat.

Twelve Months of Christmas

Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Message to my readers. OK, it's nearly the middle of the Christmas season now and no doubt many of you came here hoping to find new tunes. I am still working with the faulty one that crashed (and has crashed so many times on me since! I plan on getting a new computer before too much longer, but that's just one thing I refuse to buy on credit, so it's pretty much using the computer for the bare basics right now.). I hope to see you here again in the future! Worst Christmas EVER...

Twelve Months of Fun - Twelve Months of Fun

Top of the Morning Thursday. Back to School Theme. Tuesday, September 1, 2015. I think every child has started school, except mine! We start really late this year and we have not even had our Back to School dinner. Every year, we like to have a special dinner where we celebrate the upcoming school year. I usually make crowns with the grade for the kids to wear and sometimes they get a gift. I previously blogged about our 2011. A few years ago, I was inspired by Stephanie of the NieNie Dialogues.
