Debt Free In the Ozarks: Normal is BROKE! Be weird!: Merry Christmas!
http://debtfreeintheozarks.blogspot.com/2007/12/merry-christmas.html
Debt Free In the Ozarks: Normal is BROKE! Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Okay - technically, it's now the day after Christmas, but what the hey! Things are going well here. We actually had money to spend for Christmas this year - a conscious choice on our part. In years past, we'd be like okay, we'll spend $20 on each other and by mid-December, we'd agree to $50 or $75. This year, we just set the amount higher in November, because we could. And there's no guilt involved! He FINALLY hit NINE! Once again - ...

Debt Free In the Ozarks: Normal is BROKE! Be weird!: If God cares about the little things...

Debt Free In the Ozarks: Normal is BROKE! Sunday, December 9, 2007. If God cares about the little things. Then surely He cares about the big things too right? I know He does, but the confirmation is nice. If He who controls the universe cares enough to make it stop raining long enough for me to get my kids in and out of the car, surely He's taking care of my men - both the little one and the big one. You write very well. November 11, 2008 at 3:24 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Debt Free In the Ozarks: Normal is BROKE! Be weird!: Does life ever slow down?!
http://debtfreeintheozarks.blogspot.com/2007/12/does-life-ever-slow-down.html
Debt Free In the Ozarks: Normal is BROKE! Saturday, December 8, 2007. Does life ever slow down? I knew life with 4 kids would be hectic and 'on the go', but I am so very ready for things to slow down - just a bit. For me who remembers Nissen Fundoplication with no problems. Not sure what that is? Read November's posts.]. A huge relief. [This was the day I wrote the post entitled "When it rains." :)]. Since then, our little guy gained four ounces in 8 days - this is fabulous news! Some statements have com...

Debt Free In the Ozarks: Normal is BROKE! Thursday, November 29, 2007. Because we have good health insurance, I am actually kind of looking forward to the bills coming in and seeing what the month of November would have cost us medically if we didn't have it. Saturday, November 24, 2007. There's no place like home! Wednesday, November 21, 2007. God is so very good! With all of that, it looks like we'll be able to go home on Friday instead of sometime over the weekend. We believe that God could easily hav...

Debt Free In the Ozarks: Normal is BROKE! Sunday, October 28, 2007. It's All About the Baby Steps. As I'm sure many of you know, we have been coordinating Dave Ramsey's FPU at our church for a couple of years now. One of the keys to Dave's program is the Baby Steps. To get out of debt, Dave and his wife, Sharon, did things this way. They worked for him and have worked for hundreds of thousands since – including us. So - the Seven Baby Steps are…. This is where you sit down and do the dreaded BUDGET!

Debt Free In the Ozarks: Normal is BROKE! Tuesday, November 11, 2008. I've been so remiss in keeping up with this. I'll try to do better! A year ago this week, the little man was in the hospital for the first time having fallen back under eight pounds. Our little man isn't so little anymore! At 15 months, he's finally nearing twenty pounds! Two Pediasures a day plus all kinds of other high fat, high calorie foods. The Pediasure alone runs about $2.50 a day. But God is good. And something will work out :).
